Malte Urea Container

A Malte Urea Container allows you to both produce and store wet urea. The container gives easy and efficient access to wet urea for ground de-icing, anti-slip preparation and creating friction on runways.

To create wet urea, dry urea prills are mixed with water in the container. The process starts by filling an empty container with the required amount of water. The water is then heated and prilled urea is added to the container. A circular pumping system efficiently mixes water and urea to a concentrate containing 30–40% urea.

The stainless steel funnel for refill rests on the frame around the opening in the container roof. The opening is secured by a fall protection grid. The hatches open sideways and can be attached to the railing during use of the facility. The container features walking surfaces made of tread plate and galvanized stairs and railings. To meet transport height requirements the roof railings can be folded down.

The external door is lockable from the outside and can be open from the inside. To maintain a suitable temperature, the walls and roof are insulated. Two 2 kW heating fans maintain the temperature inside the container and circulate the heat. Electrical and control cabinets are placed in a control room. The room is measures just over 2 m².
