Malte GenSet

Malte manufactures custom off-grid charging solutions in the form of container units. They are designed to fit the Malte Retail Chassi to optimize capacity and design while enabling European transport without a companion car. Our mission is to address the challenge of limited capacity in the electrical grid, particularly when it comes to charging heavy electric vehicles.

Our container solutions, equipped with integrated generator functions, provide a convenient way to establish off-grid charging locations for trucks and smaller vehicles. Malte GenSet is a robust charging unit with a capacity of 240 kW, capable of charging two positions at 120 kW each, ideal for heavy trucks and construction equipment such as excavators and bulldozers. In cases where local grid connectivity is available, this unit can seamlessly boost its power capacity when additional loads are connected. Additionally, it utilizes methanol as a new and sustainable fuel source with limitless availability in the future.
