Färist VPN is a scalable and flexible VPN solution with market-leading performance, designed for organisations with high requirements for security and availability. The solution is available in multiple form factors, ranging from small mobile units to high-performance rack-mounted servers, with throughput from 100 Mbps up to 40 Gbps. For use in particularly demanding environments, ruggedised and hardened versions are also available, meeting strict military specifications and well suited for environments requiring compliance with regulations such as the NIS Directive.

Färist VPN is based on the IPSEC and MACSEC standards and employs strong encryption using AES-256. The solution supports digital certificates for automated key management, with encryption keys handled via smart cards or USB, and provides perfect forward secrecy to ensure the highest level of protection.

The product has been developed in close cooperation with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and the Swedish Armed Forces and is approved for the Restricted classification level, both as a standalone component and as part of a Färist Mobile system in several EU countries. Färist VPN is approved by the EU at the Restricted level and certified in accordance with Common Criteria EAL 5+. Administration is performed through a centralised management system, enabling efficient and straightforward control of multiple devices, both locally and remotely.
