About us
MACSIM (Mass Casualty Simulation) is an established and scientifically validated simulation system that enables effective planning, training and evaluation for major incidents, disasters and special events.
MACSIM is used on local, regional, national and international level by civil and military organizations – from prehospital operations to hospitals and strategic management – and constitutes a leading standard for training, exercise and capacity analysis in disaster medicine.
The MACSIM simulation tool is used on several regional, national and international courses. For example, MRMI (Medical Response to Major Incidents www.mrmi.eu) TKS (Trauma Disaster Stockholm, Region Stockholm), BOK (Preparedness and Disaster Medicine, Västra Götalands Region) and Basic Training in Disaster Medical Preparedness (Region Örebro).
Civil-military cooperation is a high priority within regions and the Armed Forces. Through the LIV exercises, MACSIM has been used successfully to practice, train, evaluate and test this important part of Sweden's civil and military defense. As the exclusive international distributor of MACSIM, Incisio AB combines technological innovation with in-depth expertise and qualified consulting in disaster medicine and emergency preparedness development.
Incisio AB is partner in the EDF (European Defence Fund) project WEMOR where we act as medical specialists in the development of wearable biosensors for the military.
