Geodesign Flood Barriers offers a comprehensive range of products engineered to address the diverse challenges posed by flooding. Our three distinct product series – Heavy Duty, Industrial, and Elemental – are optimized to perform optimally in varying flood conditions. Our flood barriers boast a robust steel structure and incorporate lightweight components with a sophisticated design. This enables fast deployment in any desired line or formation, ensuring efficient and effective protection against floodwaters.
Heavy Duty Series
Our Geodesign Heavy Duty series has been engineered to offer flood protection against varying water levels. With five models to select from, you can personalise your flood control solution. Our Heavy Duty series is designed to be sturdy yet easy to deploy, without requiring any tools or machinery. All models share the same structure and section width.
Industrial Series
Geodesign's Industrial Flood Barrier is a highly effective solution for protecting large areas from flooding in a short amount of time. Available in four different models - with dam heights of 121 cm, 101 cm, 81 cm, and 61 cm.The barrier's ingenious simplicity has made it a favourite among government entities for its logistical advantages.
Elemental Series
The Elemental flood barrier system is meticulously crafted to offer robust protection against floodwaters rising up to 61 cm. It showcases a streamlined design comprising just two components: a durable metal support and a metal sheet. Unlike the other ranges in the Geodesign series, there is no need to unfold supports; instead, you simply position them. This efficient design facilitates rapid installation over extended lengths, ensuring timely flood prevention. Beyond merely acting as a barrier against rising water, the Elemental barrier can stand up against the rush of water during flash floods – common in urban areas due to surface water accumulation on streets and roads. But the utility of the Elemental system doesn't stop at flood protection. It can do more. Its versatile design means it can be made into reservoirs for various liquids. Owing to its adaptive nature, it can be made into diverse shapes and sizes for all sorts of temporary containment needs, like for example water, oil spillage, slurry or sand. Furthermore, the Elemental flood barrier does not take up much storage space: a crate with 50 meters of barrier fits in just 1 m2, and 1km of barrier can be neatly packed into a standard 20 ft container.

The recent River Severn flooding in Ironbridge, England, tested the Geodesign Flood Barriers, which held back waters peaking at 6.33m. In use since 2004, these barriers continue to protect the UNESCO World Heritage site and its community.
