At Hanaholmen, a cooperation centre for Sweden and Finland, we work to develop and expand the partnership between our countries in all areas of society.
We have worked for a long time with defence cooperation and the current security situation has demanded an ever increased joint action in the field of total defence. Therefore, we launched the Hanaholmen Initiative in 2021, a cross-sectorial bilateral crisis preparedness programme aimed at key decision makers from different sectors of society. The crisis preparedness programme has two mainstays: an annual executive education programme and an annual summit.
We are also a top-of-the-art conference centre right next to the inner city of Helsinki offering a gourmet restaurant, an inspiring environment with art, design and architecture and high-quality conference facilities.
